Our Plans at Harton Village Kindergarten

'I would like to take this opportunity to explain what we have achieved within the old Cleadon Park Library site. We have built a 109 place nursery for children between 0 and 5 years of age, that provides childcare to support and enable parents to attend college, return to work or to further their career.

We have also opened a sensory area and a soft play area for children to attend with their parents or grandparents at any time of the day, these facilities will enable the very young children to explore and experience the very best sensory facilities. Our soft play will also enable children to finely tune their balance and coordination, these facilities are independent of the main nursery so other parents are able to utilise these services.

Also on site is Asilo Cafe, a separate tea and coffee shop that has access to its own private garden where parents can sit and enjoy a quiet drink with a slice of cake and take some time to themselves.

The last, but one of the more important parts of the whole project is the creation of a sensory garden for children with additional needs. We are analysing what makes a garden that creates a stimulating and exciting experience for children with a range of educational needs.

We appreciate all of the support and kind words awe have recieved from the community since we started this project and we are looking forward to repaying this back to you now that we are open.'

Kind regards,
