Before & After School Clubs and Holiday Care
At Harton Village Kindergarten we provide Before and After School care for children up to 10 years of age in a safe, caring and friendly environment. Our clubs are filled with resources, activities and games that are suitable for children of school age. Our Breakfast and After School Clubs are open every weekday during school term time with a team of qualified staff who work with the children and have space for up to 16 children and during the school holidays we run a Holiday Club throughout each weekday.
We offer pick ups and drop offs for both of our term time clubs for Harton and Ridgeway Primary Schools.
Breakfast & After School Clubs
Running every weekday during term time, our Breakfast & After School Clubs offer a calm, relaxed club where the children can socialise in a safe and secure environment before being dropped off at school by a fully qualified member of our staff team.
After school they are collected from our partnered schools and brought back to the nursery where they can enjoy a range of games, crafts and activities. Meals are provided to children who attend either club.
Holiday Club
At Harton Village Kindergarten, our Holiday Club aims to provide the flexibility parents need during the school holiday, offering fun and active holiday care for children aged 4-9 years. With clubs running from 7:30am - 5.45pm parents are able to choose the hours and days they need and children from all schools are welcomed.
Children can enjoy a range of games, relax and create, have fun on one of our Xbox 360 or Nintendo Wii consoles, and much more.
Activities & Games
Our clubs are full of fun and excitement, offering children a wide range of age appropriate activities. We encourage everyone attending to be active learners and to choose suitable activities for themselves while also providing a structured environment led by our out of schools team. Children will also be able to get active and enjoy outdoor fun in our own private garden area or explore our on site Soft Play area.
We provide a range of activities in each club that are tailored to the interested and needs of the children attending them, helping them prepare for the school day or relax after a long day of learning. The activities and play opportunities available to the children are planned to enrich their learning experience and contribute towards their learning and development.
What Makes Our Clubs Special
In all of our Out of School clubs we bring the same experience and quality of care that we provide in our nursery every day, but we apply this in a way that is appropriate for the ages of the children attending. This ensures that all the children attending our clubs get the best care they can and that each and every day is a fun and enjoyable experience for them.
The children will have opportunities to use our Soft Play area and enjoy quality meals freshly made by our chef, Colin. Back in their own room the children can take part in age appropriate games, activities, and crafts led by our Out of Schools team, or relax with something a little more creative.
They will also be sure to love being able to play together on some of our Xbox 360s or Nintendo Wii and some of our age appropriate games such as Minecraft, Sonic and Wii Sports.
